The Eleusia Barrier Restoring Lip Mask is built around a specific formulation principle: oil-based chemistry supports the skin's natural acidic pH range (4.0–6.5), in which ceramide-building enzymes operate up to 10x more efficiently. Ceramides are the lipids that form the structural barrier keeping moisture in and environmental stress out. When that barrier is intact and well-supported, lips retain moisture independently, with each application compounding the last.

The formula is designed for twice-daily use. Constant reapplication throughout the day is a sign that a product is compensating for surface evaporation rather than addressing the barrier. This one works differently to ensure moisturization is long-lasting.
