A Greek silk house known for its sleepwear and silk accessories, Lovelin makes its pillowcases from 22 momme mulberry silk, grade 6A, the highest grade of mulberry silk. It's silk on both sides, densely woven from a long, even fibre for a smooth, low-friction surface against skin and hair. Silk is naturally less absorbent than cotton, so more of your night-time skincare stays where you put it.
Hand wash in cold water with a detergent for delicates, or machine wash inside out in a laundry bag on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C, using a detergent free of enzymes and bleach. Don't wring. Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sunlight. No tumble drying. Iron on the reverse side on the silk setting.
